We are now looking for a Unit Manager for the Protection and Security Unit based in Stockholm. With us, there is an engaged team that supports each other, shares experiences, and has a good community. You will report directly to the Security Manager.
About the position
As a Unit Manager, your main task is to ensure that the unit can perform its duties according to applicable legislation, instructions, and security requirements during peace, crisis, and war. This includes protecting Teracom's operations, personnel, and equipment.
Main responsibilities:
The role involves analyzing, planning, and leading in the following areas:
-monitoring and protecting critical infrastructure for total defense
-securing transport of personnel and equipment
-personal protection operations
-use of drones and other sensors for technical reconnaissance
-fire and disaster response as needed
- Work environment, budget, and personnel responsibility as well as resource planning and competence development
- Lead, develop, and implement the unit's war tasks
- Conduct risk analyses based on assigned tasks.
- Ensure that the security guard operations are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation (e.g., the Protection Act, the Security Protection Act).
- Establish and follow up on routines, instructions, and reporting related to the assignment for Security Guards.
- Be the contact person for the Police Authority and other relevant authorities.
- Follow up on incidents and take measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Contribute to the development of the security culture within the organization.
- Ensure that cleaning, service tasks, and reception work are carried out in a structured manner with the support of Team Leaders within the unit.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a police officer, military, or equivalent in a leadership role.
- Documented experience in operational management within security operations.
- Knowledge and experience in personal protection.
- Knowledge and experience with weapons within the framework of security and protection
- Good knowledge of the Protection Act, the Security Protection Act, and relevant regulations.
- Education in security and leadership.
- Good administrative skills and experience documenting efforts and incidents.
Personal qualities:
- Clear and confident leader with good communication skills.
- High security awareness and integrity.
- Brave and innovative.
- Able to make decisions under pressure.
- Collaborative and responsible.

Other
For employment, a passed drug and alcohol test, background check, and security clearance with record check are required. The position is security classified and requires Swedish or Nordic citizenship.
